Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication prevents hackers from accessing your account, even if they've somehow learned your password. After enabling multi-factor authentication, you will have to enter an additional security code every time you sign in to My Monevium or withdraw funds. We can deliver the code to your phone, e-mail or you can generate codes using an application on your smartphone.

How to enable multi-factor authentication

  1. In Settings → Security → Authentication Methodunder Login, turn on  a security identity and confirm the action with a security code. This identity will be used to confirm login to the Client Portal.

    • Google Authenticator: Enter the one-time code generated in the Google Authenticator app.
    • SMS: Enter the code sent to your phone.
    • Email: Enter the code sent to your email.

Note:  You can enable multiple identities for multi-factor authentication. In this case, you'll need to choose the verification method when logging in to the Client Portal.
